Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino hopes the return of Erik Lamela to the club next week will save him a fortune in the transfer window.
The club's record £30m signing has not played since October when he suffered a hip injury and they had been linked with signing a replacement.
Fears rose he could be out for even longer after he recently returned to former club Roma for treatment on the problem.
But fellow Argentine countryman Pochettino believes he could be back in first team action shortly.
He revealed: "One more week and I think he will come back to London.
