Tottenham could have competition in their bid to bring Julian Nagelsmann as their new manager as Real Madrid are reportedly ready to make a move for the recently-sacked German.
Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich last week in a brutal 61-minute crisis meeting, with the Bavarian side appointing Thomas Tuchel as his replacement.
With Nagelsmann free, Spurs are now wanting to hold talks about him becoming their next permanent manager after Daniel Levy finally pulled the trigger and sacked Antonio Conte on Sunday night.
However, Real Madrid are also considering making a move for the 35-year-old with Carlo Ancelotti's future at the Bernabeu uncertain.
