Tottenham are confident they can steal a march on their rivals by signing Fulham's 16-year-old starlet Ryan Sessegnon.
The teenager has been scouted many times — with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, City and Bayern Munich interested.
Ahead of his 17th birthday in May, when he can put pen to paper on a professional deal, Fulham have told Sessegnon his future is in his own hands. The left-sided wing back is on a youth contract at the Championship club.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was at Craven Cottage yesterday when Sessegnon was handed half an hour to impress in the FA Cup fifth-round tie against Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs.
