Tottenham's Cristian Romero was forced off with a head injury just seconds after scoring his team's opening goal in an eventful start to their game at Brentford.
The Argentine centre-back was involved in a clash of heads with Bees forward Bryan Mbeumo four minutes into Sunday afternoon's contest at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Both players were cleared to continue following concussion checks and Romero duly nodded Spurs in front on 11 minutes from James Maddison's free-kick.
In the aftermath, however, Romero was withdrawn after taking another blow in the act of scoring.
