Tottenham Hotspur are considering bringing in Barcelona's Mateu Alemany as their new Director of Football once he is available in September.
Alemany has been part of the set-up at the Catalan giants for two years, but will leave his post on September 2 at the close of the summer transfer window. Former club midfielder Deco will replace him as the sporting director at Barca.
Now new reports suggest that Alemany, 60, is one of the front-runners to become Director of Football at Spurs, to replace Fabio Paratici.
Fabrizio Romano was among those who were reporting the news, as Spurs look to figure out the next steps on their route to success on and off the pitch.
