Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy 'confident' new stadium will be completed in time for next season

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has expressed his confidence that their new stadium will be ready in time for the new season despite minor delays.

The build for Spurs' new home ground, which is a mere stone's throw from their former White Hart Lane ground, has been ongoing since the original stadium was dismantled at the end of last season.

More than 1,600 are currently working on the site, and Levy feels Spurs have the manpower and time to have the £850m stadium ready for the start of the 2018-19 season.
