Mauricio Pochettino has said the 'door is open' to Ryan Mason at Tottenham after the midfielder was forced to announce his retirement on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old has had to end his playing career as a result of the fractured skull he suffered in Hull's match with Chelsea last year.
Mason was involved in a horrific clash of heads with Gary Cahill at Stamford Bridge in January 2017 that left him requiring emergency surgery.
The former midfielder, who began his career at White Hart Lane and stayed with the club for 17 years, spent eight days in London’s St Mary’s Hospital after the accidental collision.
