Mauricio Pochettino has launched an impassioned defence of Moussa Sissoko, labelling his under-fire midfielder as 'one of Tottenham's most important players'.
Sissoko has been widely criticised for his performances since his £30million move from Newcastle United 18 months ago but Pochettino would like to see him given more credit.
The France international has featured in all-but one of Spurs' 33 games this season and his manager rates him as Tottenham's only player capable of filling a specific role in his side.

'We have to give credit to Moussa,' Pochettino said.
