Antonio Conte is putting the pressure on his Tottenham players to pull off a ‘miracle’ and finish in the top four after they turned him into believer.
Conte admitted that following his November appointment he did not, at first, have faith in Spurs’s Champions League credentials.
But that has changed and now he is happy to go speak publicly about his target for his team.
Spurs begin their run-in fifth, three points behind neighbours Arsenal, having played a game more.
Conte said: ‘It is right to underline that this target is very, very difficult and we are not the only team that wants to try to do this miracle.
