Alan Shearer has urged Harry Kane to leave Tottenham if he wants to win trophies and feels the club's desperately disappointing season has given their star man an 'excuse' to move on despite him having three years left on his contract.
The 27-year-old - who has been heavily linked with a big-money summer move to Manchester United - is currently the Premier League's top scorer this season with 21 goals, taking his overall tally in the competition to 164, which puts him seventh on the all-time list.
However, Spurs have struggled this season, with Jose Mourinho getting the boot last month after a run of one win in six games that included an embarrassing Europa League exit at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb.
