Tottenham accelerate interest in Brighton star Leandro Trossard but a deal for the Belgium international is not imminent and any move is likely to take place later in the transfer window

Tottenham are interested in Brighton attacker Leandro Trossard as Antonio Conte eyes reinforcements to his squad before the end of the month.

Belgium international Trossard is in line to leave the Amex Stadium during the January transfer window.

Spurs are keen on the 28-year-old and it is understood that their interest has accelerated over the past few days.

Brighton aware of the their rivals’ attraction to Trossard, though sources claim a move is not imminent with any deal likely later in the window.

Trossard’s deal expires at the end of the season and he was omitted from Brighton’s squad that beat Middlesbrough 5-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday as doubts grow over his future on the south coast.
