Tottenham 3-0 APOEL: Stand-ins stand up for Spurs as Fernando Llorente, Son Heung-Min and Kevin Nkoudou net to sweep aside Cypriots

His beaming smile and over-zealous clench with Serge Aurier summed it up perfectly. Finally, Fernando Llorente has lift off.

On his 17th appearance since joining from Swansea for £12million, Llorente scored his first Tottenham goal as the Premier League side finished their Champions League group campaign with a routine win over APOEL Nicosia.

His first port of call was to give Aurier, who provided the assist, the warmest of embraces. Llorente needed that. It's been a long-time coming.
