Tottenham 2-0 Aston Villa: Ben Davies scores his first goal for Spurs to help secure Mauricio Pochettino's men an FA Cup fourth round spot

Ben Davies scored his first goal for Tottenham as Mauricio Pochettino's men claimed a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Spurs largely struggled to break down their Championship opponents but the introduction of Dele Alli injected some much-needed impetus into the match, after which Davies was able to break the deadlock with a perfectly placed glancing header.

Son Heung-min wrapped up the victory with a composed finish nine minutes from time to hand his side a place in fourth round of the competition.
