Toby Alderweireld could return to Tottenham's starting lineup against Watford after manager Mauricio Pochettino confirmed the defender had 'trained well' following a back problem.
The 27-year-old missed victories against Burnley and Southampton because of the injury, but he may now replace Eric Dier for Sunday's trip to Vicarage Road.
Asked whether Alderweireld was available, Pochettino said: 'Yes. Toby trained well today (Friday).

'His recovery from the knock before Southampton. We hope he will be available for Watford.'
Pochettino, who confirmed that Erik Lamela will not be rushed back from a hip injury to face Walter Mazzarri's men , also dismissed the idea of resting players for next week's London derby with table-toppers Chelsea.
