The heartbeat of our famed double-winning team of 1961, Dave made 318 appearances for us between 1959-68 and recovered from breaking his leg twice to lift the FA Cup as skipper as we beat Chelsea at Wembley in 1967.
Dave established a company 'Dave Mackay Club Ties' over 40 years ago, a company that continues to be run by his family today.
As the final curtain falls on the stage that Dave graced so many times, the Club felt it would be a poignant touch to ask his company to design custom-made ties to commemorate the occasion.
