Thomas Tuchel refuses to be drawn on Harry Kane transfer saga as the Bayern Munich make club record £85m for the Tottenham star after talks with Daniel Levy in London

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel kept tight-lipped when quizzed over his side's ongoing pursuit of Tottenham star Harry Kane.

The Bavarian titans have been locked in a transfer saga with Spurs throughout the summer, with Kane's contract up next season and the German champions keen to reinforce their frontline.

However, despite Bayern's best efforts they have been unable to coax an agreement to sell out of Daniel Levy, who is holding out for close to £100million for his most valuable asset.

Now though, Mail Sport understands Bayern are preparing a third bid that eclipses the £68m they paid for Lucas Hernandez in 2019 in a club-record £85m move for Kane.
