Simon Jordan has slammed the 'legend' status projected onto Harry Kane by Daniel Levy, and blames the striker for Tottenham's lack of success in competitions.
Earlier in April, Tottenham chairman Levy declared the England captain's status as legendary while talking to the Cambridge Union - despite the lack of silverware on a club level - and expressed his hope for a Kane statue outside the stadium one day.
But businessman Jordan, a former chairman of Crystal Palace, accused Levy of 'talking in soundbites', and believes the 29-year-old's performances in a Spurs shirt have contributed to their failure to win trophies.
