Tottenham forward Steven Bergwijn has arrived in Amsterdam to undergo his medical ahead of his proposed move to Ajax.
Ajax have offered £28million for the 24-year-old, after discussions between Daniel Levy and Edwin van der Sar, with the pair looking to reach an agreement over the structure of payments on Tuesday.
Spurs were still insisting on Tuesday night that a deal had not been signed off yet, but with Bergwijn back in the Netherlands now, it seems that he is very close to returning to the Eredivisie.

Ajax expect the move to go through by Friday, in a deal that would see Bergwijn arrive on a five-year contract.
