LONDON -- Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has critcised Oscar for agreeing a lucrative transfer from Chelsea to Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG, saying "football is not only [about] money".
The 25-year-old Brazilian is expected to earn over £400,000-a-week after agreeing to the move, which sources have told ESPN FC will be worth £60 million to Chelsea, making it the seventh-highest transfer fee of all time.
Oscar is unusually young to be moving to China -- Jackson Martinez, Graziano Pelle and Ramires have also gone there, aged 29 or over, while Carlos Tevez is expected to imminently -- but Pochettino does not believe the vast wealth of Chinese clubs is a serious danger to the Premier League.
