Spurs 5-1 Stoke - report from Wembley

Having beaten the Potters 4-0 in our previous three league meetings, we once again served up a four-goal winning margin, this time with a 5-1 scoreline which, in truth, could have been even more had it not been for a couple of outstanding saves from Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland and one or two spurned chances from our players.

We only led by one goal at half-time after Ryan Shawcross had put through his own net on 21 minutes, Harry Kane missing a great opportunity when clean through with just Butland to beat.

After the interval, Heung-Min Son made it 2-0 on 53 minutes, with Kane heading home 90 seconds later to put us well in control.
