Excellent first half goals from Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Heung-Min Son put us in a commanding position at half-time, with Son adding a fourth goal in the 55th minute to take us to within four points of league leaders Chelsea ahead of their game against Bournemouth later in the day.
It was our 11th successive home win in the top flight – equalling our third best-ever run and something we haven’t done since 1922 – while it also marked our sixth straight win in the division, matching our Premier League best.
It all started in the 33rd minute when Dele broke the deadlock with a magnificent curling strike from 28 yards, capping off a move which started inside our own six yard box!
