Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks could turn his back on England to play for Spain.
According to the Daily Mirror, the 21-year-old has Spanish grandparents and could be eligible to play alongside the likes of Diego Costa and Andre Iniesta.
Their report claims the Spanish FA have been investigating whether he is indeed eligible and whether he would interested in representing them.
Winks has represented England at various youth levels, including the Under-21s, but can switch allegiances as he is yet to make an appearance for the senior side.
He is rated highly by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and has made 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
