Tottenham Hotspur ended their Champions League group stage campaign on a disappointing note after falling to a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in a low-key affair at the Allianz Arena.
Kingsley Coman opened the scoring after 14 minutes for the Bavarians following some lax Spurs defending before Ryan Sessegnon opened his Spurs account with an equalizer just six minutes later. The hosts were not to be denied though, as substitute Thomas Muller poked home in the closing stages of the first half to restore the Bayern lead, and Philippe Coutinho made the game safe with a well-placed strike from distance in the second half.
