Stoke City striker Saido Berahino has declared himself ready to make his first start for his new club when they travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Berahino, who joined Stoke from West Bromwich Albion in January, has made two substitute appearances so far - in the 1-1 draw with Everton on February 1 and the 1-0 defeat by his former club three days later.
Spurs were keen to purchase Berahino in the summer of 2015 but found it impossible to prise the striker away from the Baggies despite a £25million bid.

Berahino would subsequently go on strike, claiming he would never play under chairman Jeremy Peace again, something he later backtracked on.
