Tottenham assistant coach Ryan Mason previously hailed working at the club as a 'privilege' amid him being a contender to take over at Belgian club Anderlecht.
Mason has been working within Spurs' coaching setup ever since he suffered a life-changing skull fracture while playing for Tottenham in a Premier League clash seven-years ago.
Mason, who is currently part of Ange Postecoglou's backroom team, has held talks over replacing Brian Riemer, who was sacked by Anderlecht last month.
It is understood Mason is still in the running following initial discussions with the Belgian club that would become his first permanent senior management role.
