The lightning-fast forward made his Spurs debut off the bench against Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Speaking at Friday's press conference, Mauricio said: "We’re so happy with Lucas and how he’s working and maybe he has the possibility to play, yes.
"After a busy period in the Premier League, a replay (v Newport) and the Champions League it’s always important to assess every single player.
