Tottenham forward Richarlison is to undergo surgery on a pelvic injury after "suffering for eight months".
Richarlison, who signed for Tottenham from Everton for £60m in July 2022, said the "time has come to rest".
"The last few months haven't been easy for me. I've also been suffering with my health," he told ESPN Brazil.
"I've already spoken to the doctors and I'll soon have surgery on my pubis."
Spurs lost defender Micky van de Ven and playmaker James Maddison to injury during their chaotic 4-1 Premier League loss to Chelsea, while Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie must also serve bans following their dismissals in that match.
