Tottenham have effectively already spent the near £100million they would bank if Harry Kane decides to leave for Bayern Munich this summer.
As reported by Mail Sport, both clubs have reached an agreement in principle after a protracted saga and Kane will now have to decide whether he moves to Germany.
There had been a growing feeling that the striker was leaning toward staying with Spurs but the accepted bid, an improvement on three rebuffed offers, is a major development in what is likely to be the biggest switch of the window.
