Richarlison and Takehiro Tomiyasu were spotted in a touchline confrontation before either of them entered the fray in Sunday's feisty 2-0 north London derby win for Arsenal.
With both players warming up on the sidelines, Tomiyasu was seen holding an arm out to stop the Brazilian from interfering with an Arsenal throw-in.
Tensions flared in the clash, with Aaron Ramsdale being attacked by a fan, and despite only coming on in the second half, Richarlison was the centre of much of the controversy, including claims Gabriel Martinelli was frequently diving in the game.
