REVEALED: Michael Oliver has awarded more Premier League penalties against Jose Mourinho's teams than ANY referee, with one every 3.5 games... so, after the Spurs boss hit out at the 'astonishing' record and 'mistake' against Arsenal, does he have a point

Jose Mourinho's claim that he is 'very unlucky' with penalties being given against his teams by referee Michael Oliver does carry some weight, it can be revealed.

The Tottenham boss was furious with Oliver's decision to award Arsenal a spot-kick in his side's north London derby defeat on Sunday, describing his penalty record under the official as 'astonishing' after the game.

Oliver, who also sent Erik Lamela off, had already given more Premier League penalties against Mourinho's teams than any other referee prior to the game at the Emirates, having awarded five in 20 matches since August 2015.
