A former Premier League star had a shocking start to life in the Scottish Championship after he saw red less than 20 minutes into his debut at his new club.
The midfielder sealed a reunion with Neil Lennon at Dunfermline earlier this week, joining as a free agent until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old played under the new Pars boss at Celtic between 2011 and 2013, winning two league titles and a Scottish Cup and scoring in the famous Champions League victory over Barcelona in 2012.
