Paul Scholes has claimed Man United should have paid 'whatever it would have cost' to sign Harry Kane ahead of Bayern Munich.
The former Man United midfielder claimed ahead of their Champions League group stage tie against the German champions that the club should have focused their efforts on luring Kane to Old Trafford.
Kane ultimately joined Bayern in a £100m move from Tottenham in the summer, with the Red Devils instead signing Rasmus Hojlund.
'Without a shadow of a doubt' Scholes said on TNT Sports, when asked whether Man United should have broken the bank to sign Kane.
