Owen Farrell has been dealt another injury blow after the England ace was ruled out of Saracens' trip to Sale on Friday night because he is still undergoing return-to-play protocols after a head knock.
Farrell missed England's underwhelming Six Nations campaign after ankle surgery, but returned to club duty against Bristol last Saturday.
He kicked 12 points in his team's win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what was his first game since November last year, but his return has lasted just one match.
Farrell was removed from the field for a head injury assessment and replaced by Sean Maitland in the 70 minute.
