Over to you Arsenal! Tottenham move into the Champions League places as Harry Kane's first-half penalty seals a nervy victory over Burnley ahead of their bitter rivals's trip to Newcastle on Monday

Tottenham made up vital ground in the Champions League race with a narrow, hard-fought win 1-0 against Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Nathan Collins cleared Harry Kane's header off the line, before Hugo Lloris saved well from Maxwel Cornet, before the deadlock was broken deep into first-half stoppage time, when Harry Kane scored a VAR-assisted penalty for a handball by Ashley Barnes.

After the break, Clarets striker Barnes was close to his first goal in 15 months when he struck the post from distance, and Spurs held on despite late pressure to secure a valuable three points which put them two points above rivals Arsenal for now.
