Arsenal and Tottenham target Jean-Michael Seri will not be leaving in January, according to Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere.
The midfielder looked as though he would be off in the summer after several clubs expressed an interest in him.
Arsenal and Tottenham worked on bringing the Ivorian to England, while Barcelona also made an offer for him.
However, all three failed in their efforts as Seri ended up staying with Nice.
And now the French club's president, Rivere, has confirmed that the 26-year-old will not be leaving during the next transfer window either.
"Seri will not leave in January," Rivere told France Blue Azur.
