Tottenham have been dealt a significant financial blow by the news that the 2020 NFL London games have been cancelled.
It was announced on Monday that the upcoming season will be played exclusively in the United States, meaning Spurs, who were going to host two matches, are out of pocket.
Fears over the coronavirus crisis have led the NFL to axe the proposed games in London, the other two of which would have been held at Wembley.
The news is a blow for Daniel Levy as Spurs generated a financial boost from hosting
Tottenham were not entitled to the gate receipts, which go to the American home team, but would have been able to keep food and drink net income plus the merchandising profit.
