Danny Rose has joined Newcastle on loan until the end of the season from fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham.
Rose has been with Tottenham for the past 13 years but has had several run-ins with the club over contract disputes and famously gave an outspoken interview where he criticised their transfer policy.
And Steve Bruce has now taken advantage of the uncertainty by capturing the loan signing of the England international. There is no option in the deal to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer, however.
Rose, who will wear the No 28 shirt, is eligible to make his Newcastle debut in Saturday's Premier League encounter at home to Norwich.
