Moussa Sissoko charged with alleged violent conduct by FA for elbow on Harry Arter in Tottenham draw

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been charged by the FA following his elbow on Harry Arter against Bournemouth this weekend.

The incident happened late on in the second half as Spurs were held to a goalless draw on the south coast.

Sissoko struck Arter in the second half at the Vitality Stadium but, after consulting his linesman, referee Craig Pawson decided against any further punishment.

However, the FA have since decided to take retrospective action and the France international could face a three-match ban if found guilty.
