Mauricio Pochettino was left 'embarrassed' as Tottenham's Wembley hoodoo continued to leave their Champions League hopes hanging by a thread.
In front of an English club record attendance of 85,512, Spurs flopped as they lost to a largely dominant Bayer Leverkusen thanks to a solitary Kevin Kampl goal.
Having struck a deal to play their European games - even in the Europa League - at Wembley, Pochettino's side have now lost both their Champions League games at the famous stadium.
But the Spurs manager offered a brutal and honest assessment of his side's performance, saying the burden of playing at Wembley has nothing to do with his side's disappointing display.
