Mauricio Pochettino has declared Tottenham to be a 'bigger' club than Manchester City ahead of this evening's Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium.
The Spurs boss stirred mischief, using factors such as history and fan-base to support his claim, although he admits City now operate in a 'different world' with huge wealth and free-spending ambitions.
'Historically, Tottenham was bigger than Manchester City,' said Pochettino. 'Fans, Tottenham is bigger. But it's true, Manchester City has a different philosophy.
'Not a different level, but a completely different way to Tottenham.
