Manchester United transfer report: David de Gea ‘no longer wanted’ by Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez are in disagreement about signing £43million-rated Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

De Gea was close to joining the Spanish giants in the summer of 2015, only for a paperwork hitch to prevent the deal going through at the last minute.

The goalkeeper has since signed a new deal with United until 2019, although he remains very much on Real's radar.

It has been suggested they could make a £43m swoop for the Spain No.1 this summer, once their transfer sanctions are lifted.

Before reports in Spain claim that while Real president Perez wants to sign De Gea, boss Zidane does not.
