Mourinho is said to be a big fan of Dier who, according to The Telegraph, sees his long term future in midfield. This season the 23-year-old has switched between defence and midfield under Mauricio Pochettino and while he is happy at Tottenham, Man United could offer him the chance to play in the middle and are willing to pay £40m for him.
According to The Sun, Real Madrid will offer United £60m, a world record fee for a goalkeeper, to lure David De Gea back to Spain in the summer. He is the priority, but if that moves fails again, like it did in 2015, then Real will make a move for Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.
