United's Rose pursuit could bloom
Manchester United's hopes of bringing in England defender Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur might have been boosted again, according to the Manchester Evening News.
It says Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino's decision to omit Rose from his squad for a second Premier League game in succession has offered encouragement to United ahead as another window looms into view.
Rose, who said he was "fuming" after being omitted for the derby defeat at North London rivals Arsenal, also failed to make the squad for the home game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
