Manchester City have reportedly contacted Eintracht Frankfurt star Andre Silva's agent over a summer swoop as Pep Guardiola searches for a replacement for Sergio Aguero.
The Premier League champions are looking to fill the mammoth void left by the club's all-time leading goalscorer, who left the Etihad Stadium for Barcelona following the expiration of his contract.
Guardiola's side have been linked with mega-money moves for Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, with the latter understood to have informed Tottenham of his desire to leave north London this summer.
And according to German outlet Sport Bild, City are casting their net further as they search for a successor for the Argentine, having reportedly contacted Silva's representatives over a move.
