Manchester City comfortably beat Tottenham at the Etihad to extend their winning run to 16 games.
Ilkay Gundogan, in for the injured David Silva, opened the scoring inside 15 minutes, before a powerful angled effort from Kevin De Bruyne and a double from Raheem Sterling wrapped up the points in the second half, before Christian Eriksen scored a late consolation for the visitors.
Guardiola’s side now enjoy a 14 point lead at the top, having won 17 of their 18 games this season, with Tottenham dropping down to 7th, seven points adrift from a Champions League place.
