Man United 'target move for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund as well as Harry Kane' with Erik ten Hag keen to sign an 'up-and-coming forward' this summer... but deal may set the club back £40m amid takeover uncertainty

Manchester United may look to splash out on two strikers this summer with Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund joining Harry Kane on their shortlist, according to reports.

United have taken a step forward during their first season under Erik ten Hag, having won the Carabao Cup, reached the FA Cup final and mounted a top four push, but, in comparison to their rivals, have struggled to find their goalscoring groove.

As a result, Ten Hag is believed to be prioritising signing a new frontman at the end of the season, with Tottenham talisman, and record scorer, Kane their prime target.
