Manchester United fans lauded defender Lisandro Martinez for his barge on Richarlison during Sunday's draw with Tottenham.
The Argentine returned from a four-month lay-off as the Red Devils were held to a 2-2 draw by Ange Postecoglou side at Old Trafford.
Martinez came on to replace Jonny Evans shortly after the hour mark and wasted no time getting stuck into action.
As Richarlison attempted to chase an outswinging corner which looked set to fall to Alejandro Garnacho on the edge of the box, Martinez ensured he didn't progress by aggressively barging the Brazilian to the ground.
