Man United 'are unlikely to bid for Harry Kane this summer because of Tottenham's reluctance to sell him to a Premier League rival'

Manchester United are said to be increasingly unlikely to sign Harry Kane this summer with Tottenham having made their stance clear.

United have been linked with Kane for some time and were expected to make a move for the England captain in the current window.

However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has no plans to sell the player and is adamant that if they do it won't be to a Premier League rival.

Kane's current contract expires next summer, meaning this could be Tottenham's last chance to cash in unless they can convince him to sign a new deal.
