Yves Bissouma tested positive for malaria during his time at the AFCON tournament, it has been confirmed by Mali's head coach Eric Chelle.
According to Sky Sports, the Tottenham midfielder has been playing with malaria after testing positive early in the tournament.
Mali's head coach Eric Chelle revealed that both Bissouma and Moussa Diarra were suffering from Malaria.
'You know Yves and Moussa were suffering from malaria, regarding the blood tests, it’s not so serious, because someone born in West Africa is used to malaria, he could play but for Moussa it was different' Chelle said.
