Ladies joint-top after C&K win

Wendy Martin led the way with a goal and three assists at Canvey Island FC.

The wins takes the team's record to six wins and a draw after seven matches - a start matched by Coventry United and Cardiff City and the three teams are now level at the of the FAWPL South.

After a string of impressive cup wins, Tottenham Hotspur Ladies returned their focus back to the FA Women’s Premier League against the only team who had denied them all three points this campaign, C&K Basildon, who held the Lilywhites to a 1-1 draw last month.
